Peter Horton is a musician, songwriter and producer, making his mark on the music scene crafting indie electro-pop tunes.
In 2013, he moved to NYC, where he was the vocalist and co-songwriter for the band El Niño, an alt-rock group based in Brooklyn. There, Horton honed his songwriting abilities, and together with the band created rock songs ranging from pop-rock to soaring anthems. After several years of recording music and performing shows with El Niño, Horton left NYC and decided to pursue new challenges and perspectives in Tokyo. It was after making this move that he began his work in earnest as a solo artist. Inspired by his new environment, he began working on his first album, Spirit of Inquiry. This album, coming in at 12 tracks, sees Horton’s love of 2000’s alt-rock and 80’s synth-pop combine to creates an exuberant new wave electro-pop experience. Lyrically, Spirit of Inquiry is a contemplation of the path taken, the paths that lie ahead, and the relationships that are made and broken along the way.
His second album, Waves of a Lifetime, sees Horton expand his musical palette while maintaining his rock-pop roots (and his love of harmonies). The album lyrically explores the highs and lows of venturing to live in a new country, set to tunes that are bound to have you singing along.

Pete's new single is called "Keiko's Farm", and it is a song about the journey and leap of faith that is taken when two people decide to build a life together. He started writing this song when he was WWOOFing at a farm in Gifu, Japan. The farm belonged to a couple (the wife's name is Keiko), and he drew inspiration from their story to write the lyrics. They had a piano in their house, which is where he wrote the tune for the first part of the song. He combined it with a melody he had held on to for many years, making this one of the most heartfelt and poignant songs he has released yet.
